Luis Franco joins the lab

Luis Franco
Luis Franco has joined the lab as a postdoctoral fellow. Luis is joining us from Neuroelectronics Research Flanders and the VIB Center for the Biology of Disease in Belgium, where he carried out his dissertation work with Dr. Emre Yaksi and Dr. Bassem Hassan. For his thesis project, Luis used patch clamp, calcium imaging, and optogenetics to investigate the effect of disease-relevant mutations on chemosensory processing in Drosophila melanogaster.
