HPC Microprism (GFP-M mouse)

About the Lab

The overarching goal of our research is to understand the cortical circuits underlying visual processing, spatial perception, and spatial memory. To this end, the lab employs large-scale two-photon calcium imaging, multi-unit electrophysiology, and optogenetic manipulation of neural activity in behaving mice. Our lab is part of the vibrant UCSB neuroscience community.

Our lab extends our gratitude for generous support from: NIH (BRAIN Initiative), NSF (NeuroNex), the Whitehall Foundation, the Larry L. Hillblom Foundation, the Hellman Fellows Fund, UC MEXUS-CONACYT, and the Harvey Karp Discovery Award.
